What anaesthesia is used?

Can be performed under local anaesthesia but if both upper and lower blepharoplasties are required either IV sedation or general anaesthesia is preferred.

How long do the results lasts?

The patients usually achieve satisfying results for 10-15 years post surgery, but as aging is a continuous process patient may require finer touchups 10-15 years past surgery.

Will there be scars?

In upper lid, incisions are made in natural eye folds that are not visible with time.
For lower eyelid the trans conjunctival approach is done that removes the excess fatty tissue in the eye-bags, so, there will be no scar in trans conjunctival approach.
